About this chalet
A comfortable tented room set right on the sands of Wadi Rum, with sweeping desert views and distant rock formations on the horizon. A private wooden deck with a low picket railing and two wicker chairs provides a quiet spot for morning coffee or watching the changing light; the deck is trimmed with soft string lights and a decorative lantern for evenings. Inside, the tent’s colorful fabric ceiling and patterned walls create a warm, traditional atmosphere around a low bed, sheepskin rugs and floor seating arranged in front of a large curved window that frames the landscape. There’s a small dressing area with a vintage-style table and a rack for clothes. The bathroom is finished in stone-like tiles and includes a modern sink, toilet and an open shower with toiletries provided. A portable heater is present for cooler nights. By night the grouped striped-cloth units are lit from their decks, giving the camp a tidy, intimate feel while preserving wide, uninterrupted views of the desert.
