1. Use of service
YallaChalet is a directory of chalet rentals operated as a free public service. By browsing the directory, contacting a chalet owner, or claiming a listing as an owner, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These terms are a starter template. Final terms will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
You must be at least 18 years old to claim a listing as an owner. Renters of any age may browse and contact owners.
2. Listings
YallaChalet aggregates listings from public sources and from chalet owners who claim their entries. We work to keep listings accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that any listing's price, availability, photos, or amenities are correct at any given moment. The chalet owner is the source of truth for their property; always confirm details directly with the owner before transferring money.
We reserve the right to:
- Remove listings that violate these terms or applicable law.
- Edit listing copy for grammar, clarity, or factual correction.
- Suspend a listing pending a moderation review.
- Refuse a claim where the claimant cannot prove ownership.
3. Owner obligations
If you claim a chalet listing as its owner, you agree that:
- The information you provide (phone number, photos, prices, amenities) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You hold the legal right to advertise this property for rental.
- You will respond to renter inquiries within a reasonable time.
- You will not list a property that violates Jordanian law (zoning, taxation, or otherwise) or the laws of any other applicable jurisdiction.
- You will not list the same property multiple times under different names.
- You will keep your listing's pricing and availability current; persistently stale listings may be suspended.
4. Renter expectations
If you contact a chalet owner via this directory, you agree that:
- You will use the owner's phone number only to inquire about the listed chalet, never for unrelated commercial outreach, harassment, or spam.
- The booking, payment, and stay are between you and the chalet owner directly. YallaChalet is not a payment processor, escrow agent, broker, or insurer.
- Disputes about the stay (deposit refund, cleanliness, amenities not as described) are between you and the owner. We may, at our discretion, mediate or remove a listing that attracts repeated complaints, but we are not a party to your booking.
5. Liability
YallaChalet provides the directory "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by Jordanian law. We are not liable for:
- Errors or omissions in listing data.
- Loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the directory.
- Conduct of any chalet owner or any renter.
- Loss arising from a payment made directly to a chalet owner.
Where applicable law does not permit such an exclusion, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the directory is limited to JOD 100 (one hundred Jordanian Dinars).
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Disputes arising from these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your residence provides otherwise.

8. Changes
We update these terms when our service changes materially or when the law changes. Each version is dated at the top of the page (lastUpdated). Material changes will be announced via a banner on the homepage for at least 14 days before the new version takes effect. Continuing to use the directory after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
