Beds are set up against the rock face with simple, comfortable bedding that keeps the feeling of camping while staying tidy. Evenings are spent around an open fire, lit lanterns and a very traditional atmosphere where tea and communal dinners are served and light music or storytelling often accompanies the night. Hosts function as guides and arrange jeep trips across the dunes, offering chances to explore rock formations and try sandboarding. The desert sky at night is exceptionally clear for stargazing, and low stone seating and layered rugs create comfortable outdoor lounges for relaxing or dining while watching the landscape. Access is by four-wheel-drive and there is parking nearby. Overall the place feels authentic and down-to-earth, focused on a cultural desert experience with practical comforts and memorable nights by the fire.
