This desert camp sits beneath the towering sandstone walls of Wadi Rum, with black-and-white Bedouin tents arranged directly on the red sand. Interiors are straightforward and practical — simple beds, woven tent linings and wood-look flooring — designed for resting after a day of walking or riding. Sunrises and sunsets here are a highlight: the light paints the stone cliffs in warm tones and frames distant natural arches and rock bridges. Local guides lead camel treks and walking routes across the dunes, and evening meals are prepared over open coals or a traditional grill, with slow-cooked dishes served in communal settings. On-site parking is available, and the camp notes a free parking option; an airport shuttle service is also offered. Pets are permitted, and basic washroom facilities are provided. The operation is run by a local woman and focuses on an authentic, no-frills desert experience — centered on the landscape, guided outings, and shared outdoor meals.
