Set on the open sands of Wadi Rum, this Bedouin-style camp sits among wide rock formations and desert plain. A large communal tent lined with patterned Bedouin fabric offers low tables, wide carpets and a central wood-burning stove that creates a warm, intimate gathering spot. Outside, a simple fire pit area provides seating for tea and shisha at dusk, and an informal buffet of breakfast items is laid out on long tables inside the tent. Sleeping tents are simply furnished with colorful blankets and small beds, with windows that frame the surrounding sandstone scenery and the broad, clear sky. Vehicles are parked close to the row of tents, making arrival by car straightforward. The atmosphere focuses on shared meals, sitting around the fire, traditional music and an authentic desert setting among the iconic rock landscapes of Wadi Rum.
