Bedouins Desert camp
About this chalet
Set in the heart of Wadi Rum, the camp sits among broad rock formations and an open sandy plain, offering clear desert views and wide skies for moon- and star-watching. The accommodation consists of traditional striped Bedouin-style tents raised slightly above the ground with small verandas furnished with simple chairs and a table for morning or evening sitting. Inside each tent are single beds covered with blankets and towels and floor carpeting — a practical, no-frills setup for a comfortable basic stay. Shared tiled washroom facilities and sinks provide a place for washing and grooming, connected by internal walkways to the tents. A communal, carpeted reception tent with low seating creates a traditional atmosphere for evening gatherings and live music; dinner is commonly served in the group area. The camp is described as child-friendly and includes a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a parking area adapted for guests with mobility needs, making movement around the site easier. Overall the camp offers a straightforward Bedouin experience focused on essential comforts and the surrounding desert scenery rather than modern luxuries.
