Hala Rum camp

Set in Wadi Rum’s red sand and framed by towering sandstone cliffs, the camp is arranged with traditional striped tents placed on raised wooden platforms and simple railings. Inside the tents are comfortable beds dressed in calm linens and wall lamps that give a warm glow at night, while large openings and windows frame the open desert and distant rock formations. A roomy communal tent is laid out with woven rugs, low tables and long bench seating — a relaxed spot for meals and evening gatherings. The shared wash area features multiple sinks, mirrors and a wall-mounted water heater, providing practical facilities before heading out into the desert. Small desert plants dot the sand around the camp and camels are sometimes nearby, adding to the authentic desert atmosphere. Views shift from broad dunes to dramatic cliffs, offering a quiet, uncomplicated base to experience Wadi Rum with places to sit, eat and enjoy the landscape.
