Set in the heart of Wadi Rum, this desert camp sits among red sand and towering rock formations. The camp is built around traditional black-and-white striped tents that provide sheltered sleeping areas with metal beds, warm blankets and carpeted floors. Vehicles can be parked at the edge of the camp beside stone-lined paths and simple outdoor seating where you can relax and take in the wide, clear skies and the surrounding sandstone ridges. A small block of facilities with separate doors offers basic sanitary amenities near the main camp area. Meals are served in a communal space and feature fresh, local dishes. Guided four-wheel-drive excursions run from the camp into the dunes and to nearby rock sites, and a panel of ancient petroglyphs can be visited on short walks. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and hospitable, aimed at guests seeking an authentic desert experience and easy access to the landscape rather than hotel-level luxury.
